I used AMI SLIC Tool 1.42 to mod ASUS EBOX EB1006 BIOS v0501 But it promted "No space to insert slic table" How to insert SLIC Table in this case ? Thanks
I'm sorry for reviving such an old thread but since my question is directly related, I hope it's OK. 911medic, why is SSV2 preferred in this instance compared to SSV3 with an adjusted SLIC location? I'm asking because I'm about to make my own EEE 1005HA mod and want to do it right.
SSv2 is better mod all around. There is a small chance that adjusting SLIC location (SSv3) can overwrite code if not done well. We had failures of the netbook bios mods early because of this. The SSv3 with altered location works the majority of the time, but why chance it. SSv2 has always worked and is a much better MOD IMHO because the modules are resized and cause less movement in the offsets.
