how to rid of safe search ad aware in XP

    after i download the antivirus of lavasoft, I see this safe search bar. i walk up and down google but is too complicated for me maybe somebody in this forum, knows a more simple way to rid of this search bar. is not in ad-remove. and is no that easy. thank you.

    Which browser are you using, because you can find it in the added plug-ins and remove it I suppose.

    Or be more careful when you are installing software always select advanced and you should be given a choice to deselect added tool bars and search engines e.c.t
    I would run a scan with malwarebytes.

    I hate the crapware that some applications and drivers bundle with their software... I have been stuck with qvo6.com malware for ages on my laptop :mad:

    there are plenty of articles on google on how to remove qvo6.com malware.

    The name is: lavasoft securesearch, and when open at the end bleeko. i use google or internet explorer. i read google and looks complicated with 3 tools and i am afraid to damage something else. My question: do you know if it is any software that erase that in one shot. thank you again.

    I already mentioned try Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

    download ADW cleaner I have used it on lots of computers to clean toolbars etc its available at bleeping computers just do a scan > clean > reboot ;)
    all sorted thoroughly recommend, its developed specifically to remove troublesome toolbars !
