I have a 16GB ISO file I want to share with a friend but I can't find a reliable free site that allows me to do that? I have 1TB of storage in my OneDrive but Micro$h4ft has a 10GB limit on the file size so this 1TB is useless. Any suggestions?
Isn't there a site that allows a single file large upload? I was surprised that at this day and age we still have a 10GB limit for file uploads
Considering the size file you're talking about, surely for the sake of successful upload/download it would be better to split is as everyone has posted.
Any case I rather go for splitting large files for several reasons but the most important I consider is: - If your Internet/download/connection/power grid/WHATEVER is interrupted you are going to start crying a lot if you were at 50% ROFL
@J-Lwarence - Instead of all that silly part1 part2 nonsense in the filenames in WinRAR splits, if you click on the Advanced tab and tick "Old style volume names" your fileset will be named... Filename.rar Filename.r00 Filename.r01 ... So long as they are all in the same folder they will extract sequentially.
You could put on bluray disk and send it to them, or usb stick. Or you could in theory set up a torrent on your pc, and only give them the torrent, they will eventually get it that way. Only they would have a link to that torrent file. Those two ways stop you putting it online.
Have you tried to shrink .ISO with either WinRAR or 7zip to see how small you can make it without splitting .ISO ?
make a torrent from it and give your friend the torrent file. then also open the torrent on your computer and seed to to him/her directly
