sorry for my english, it's not my native language

It's very simple, in a Metro app, move your mouse on the top of the screen to show the title bar, then move your mouse quickly to the bottom of your screen, and BAM :D

You still can use "drag to bottom until flip" close feature.

Yeah, it's more tricky without the hand.;) In my opinion, M$ should make two buttons: minimize for minimizing apps and X button to completely close apps, just like in Explorer.

Or three like IDM, one for minimize to taskbar, one to minmize to background and the X to close

Doesn't seem to work here :( Perhaps it's because I'm using VMWare?

Works fine on VM. You just need to be a little more precise.;)

Hmm. What I'm currently doing is moving my mouse upwards until the titel bar appears. Then I move the mouse quickly downwards, until it can't go any further. Is this correct?

Apparently the taskbar shows up within a Modern/Metro app only when you have "Show Windows Store apps on the taskbar" enabled.
