I have the kms activator installed as a service (old one).
Issue 1) i would like to remove the same
issue 2) i would like to stop and remove the old service and install the one from EZactivator which i believe checks and resets the activation each boot up (or maybe once in 24 hrs thereafter)

Thanks but isn't there a GUI based one button click small program (or part of a program) that can do this?

The command line will only stop the service - right?
It will not remove the emulator exe or the kmservice.exe
    can I manually do that?

When i uninstall the service my windows will yet remain activated for the period of 180 days from last activation - right?

Yes, you can click again in the button labeled srv and the service will be removed. But do not need to start the application, right click in command promt, run as administrator and type:
    mKMSAct.exe /srv
That's all, pretty simple. The service will not be stopped it will be removed, now you can install ezactivator (excellent tool) if you wish. Windows will be activated for 180 days but it will not be again activated because you have removed the service. If you want ,say in a month, to activate again, command line as administrator and run:
    mKMSAct.exe /wr
Then you will activate again for 180 days. Please read what I told you and take your time to try different possibilities, you will not break anything.

    Hey guys,
Sorry about butting in on this thread,

Does anyone have this "mKMSAct.exe" cmd line tool handy ?
Every link i've found on the forun leads to updated or GUI versions.
I'm looking for one i can start from a batch file on Install.
mKMSAct.exe sounds like it would work.

    Thanks. ;)

First of all i am getting an error running the elevated command prompt

Next what buton are you talking about when you say "button labeled srv"

Does the service stop or is is removed when we run the command line

And if i install the EZ activator why would i ever need to activate again. isn;t this just what the ez activation also does - create a scheduled task for this purpose?

    Now I'm even more confused
