That's what I expected. What do you mean with that note? That it would be impossible to activate Windows & Office for all time (on the "messed" system)? If I do complete fresh system setup (Win10 and Off2016) it's absolutely clear, that the will be no mess from previous system. *************************** Edit: ...no risk, no fun... I have it done ...like this way: and ...Windows activates by himself Now is no old office mess on my system.
Why I asked because, my Uni provides office 365 pro plus which isn't yet updated to 2016 and according to msft leaked timeline the availability is Q1 2016, and I do not wish to wait that long. Anyhow I successfully downloaded the O365 pro plus setup with the msft deployment tool. BTW what is Abo ???
On Windows 7 convert to VL is different then higher OS, the only tool that does it properly is O2016RTool. thanks guys!
It is not the only option that works properly. The best option for me is "KMSAuto Net 2015 v1.3.9 Portable"
Office 2016 Install vTEST by Ratiborus hxxp://rghost.net/87c8GCVWm You can connect with the office of the original DVD and install from it. If the image has a language which is not in the program, First, click Office 2016 DVD to select a disc.
Office 2016 Install vTEST is the test version for languages that are not supported by Office 2016 Install v3.3 This is C2R installer.
I have downloaded and installed Office 2016 RTM retail... the problems 1) If I use the main setup, this install the 32bit version, and I have to use the right setup inside the "office" folder (setup64.exe for my os not setup32.exe) 2) when I try to install the downloaded software without an active internet connection get the message "Installation cannot continue because we weren't able to download a required file. Please make sure you're connected to the Internet" . What the hell is this required file? Why isn't included in the downloaded image?. Have you experienced same issues? If someone know how to download an iso that can be installed without internet connection active is welcome
Sorry I'm missing something here, trying to change the volume and I get 'Input Error: Can not find script file "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16\ospp.vbs". Missing the volume section?
This error does only happen when something went wrong during Office installation, because normally this folder is created by Office setup. If you use O2016RTool and press [C] convert to volume then O2016RTool checks if "ospp.vbs" is present and if not, it will be copied from folder "OfficeFixes\ospp" to "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16". So I'm a little confused why you get this error. Please describe your installation: Which Windows and architecture (32bit/x86 or 64bit/x64) do you use? Which Office Version (VNEXT 16.0.4229.1024 or MSDN-ISO 16.0.4266.1003) and architecture (x86/x64)? Did you install Office ProfessionalPlus Full Suite or Single Apps?
It converts from Retail to VL after installation. It doesn't KMS activate - see my sig for KMS VL All. Note that abbodi is still working on this converter, ironing out a glitch. Obviously he'll post when sorted.
