I had windows 8.1 home installed in my laptop and I upgraded it to windows 10 home when it came out, but now I wants the pro version. how can I upgrade to that version for free?. thanks
Not sure, but MTK KMS activation may get the job done.. First you have to let go (backup the key off course) present activation, then install a Pro version key via MTK then install the KMS and hit activation !! I doubt if retail key for home can be upgraded to Pro for free..
Install 8.1 Pro, activate it with your preferred KMS solution. Upgrade to build 10240, activate it online. Reformat and install build 10240. You cannot do the initial upgrade or a clean install with unmodified TH2 media because it will assume you are licensed for Home edition.

many ways to do, and the easiest way is change serial (add a Windows 10 Pro key) and MS will auto updrade and activate. or download the multi iso and enter the Pro Key when ask.
MicroSoft won't auto activate pro when someone just enters a pro key (which pro key do you mean btw?), maybe if it's a legit key but not with gVLK's Entering the generic HWID/MAK/RETAiL key you get by upgrading from 7/8.1 to 10 also won't work, last time i checked.
It's doable but we need more info about the situation to give all advise you'll need. The procedure how to get a genuine Pro HWID is already given by odiebugs4. Does your laptop have pre-installed windows 8.x (with a oemm bios key) than you need to use the old 10240 iso to upgrade for the Upgrade procedure, it's to work around the capabillity of the 10586 iso to readout the oemm bios key (when the 10586 iso is used to upgrade it will only give you 10 Home if there is a bios key for 8.1 core on the laptop).
Hi Enthousiast! I am currently in windows 10 single language (from 8.1 pre installed in the new laptop) and I want to update to windows 10 pro for free. Should I go back to Windows 7 Ultimate den use the DAZ loader? Then follow the instructions/links that odiebugs1 posted? Thanks for your reply.
you can upgrade to windows 10 single language and this is the best way if you like this version if not you install windows 7 pro and activate it with loader make all update and it will ask you if you want upgrade to windows 10 and you go
