I father just bought a new PC and asked me if I could help him reinstall Windows 7 and Office 2007 on it. Unfortunately he can't find the installation DVD for Office 2007 and even if he did, it's an upgrade so I would have to install an older version first which I'd prefer not to do.

When I reinstalled Windows 7, I used a tool called ABR (Activation Backup and Restore) to save/restore the license. (Mostly to get rid of all the junk HP put in their computers)
Is there anything similar to ABR but for Office 2007? Or is it possible to somehow install Office 2007 with an upgrade serial but with an Office 2007 installation disc?

    Thanks,
    Daniel

    EDIT.
Maybe I could use a keygen to install Office 2007 the illegal way and then change the serial afterwards and make it legal?

    Thanks
It's a legit key so I think I'll just have to try and call MS.
I was hoping there would be a quicker way though.

    one key for one PC

perhaps you may phone MS to activate again and choose "I have changed my hardware and need to reactivate it."

Transferring license is not possible - unless you have a volume license edition installed.
