Completely insane story. It has been talked about for 5 years and written millions of times, and still there is little. Even bears in the woods know, but people still don't know. That's the only thing that makes people different from bears?

There are indeed many ways to do this, I would recommend an easy to use, lightweight open-source tool: https:// github.com / DavidXanatos / wumgr It uses the native Windows Update Agent API
Open Settings. Click on Update & Security. Click on Windows Update. Click the Advanced options button. Under the "Pause updates" sections, use the Pause until drop-down menu, and select the time range to disable automatic updates. Hope this helps.
