Firstly, Quanta.vbs is the second QUANTA file on your list. Didn't help me much mind you, as I had problems getting it to run.

I prefer running from DOS anyway but don't know if your file is A or B??? (30CFF33A.WPH or 30CFF33B.WPH) I was using 64 bit and mine was B, but who knows. Maybe A is 32bit and 64bit is B! Nice to get this confirmed from someone who knows.

Anyway, if you know which BIOS just run from DOS using phlash16 v1.7.0.0.

    Then run....

    ph161700 /X /FORCE /O /C /S <NameOfBIOSFile>.WPH

Thanks TassieToo for your help. Now I have something to work with.

Hopefully someone can help and let me know how to determine which of these bios files to flash with: either 30CFF33A.WPH or 30CFF33B.WPH

No you cannot use phlash16 it is for Phoenix bioses only, you need AWDFLASH for flashing but it cannot edit the dmi are you need HP Tatto cd i,e, dmi editor or dmiscope for example
