    Hello,
I recently started working in a company that has a Forcepoint Firewall with a very restricted list of allowed websites,
and I don't have access to its configuration username and password, so I can add Microsoft server to the list for online updates.

The problem is that there are two PCs I need to update their Windows 10 without reinstalling the whole system from the beginning, because Office 2010 is constantly hanging especially in the 2015 one (the older one).

So, at home, I have downloaded these offline ISOs of Windows 10:
So, can I install it with one of these ISOs without losing the installed software!?
I have attached the screenshots of winver.exe built-in app.

I am worried about losing the preinstalled tools and configuration.

    PC 1:

    PC 2:

    TIA.

As long as the SKU (Professional) and the system language match, you should be able to keep all apps and files. Use the French ISO, Professional is in there.

Note that upgrading that old versions might reset some settings.

Hmm, So I only mount the ISO image and do the update from the GUI installer.
    Very good.

As long as these settings are windows specific, not the company ones, I will be good.

No one wanna mess-up his new recruitment reputation with something like this.

shouldnt IT be doing that... careful during upgrade on a older version of win10 drivers and other apps begin to have conflict issues.

It is not me, I found them like that.
they came preinstalled in a AIO HP PC.
So I decided to update em, so Office 2010 wont hang anymore.

I can't convince them to install Office 2016 or 2019, especially the accountant.
They are dinosaurs, I found them working with Office 2007 in the first place.

I don't think so, because only office 2010 GUI, hangs, not crashing, they can't click on any GUI buttons like the save one until (the workaround I found: Show the desktop (minimize office, including all the other apps), and maximize office back, this time, the buttons are clickable).
and this only happens with the 2015 version of windows 10, the 2017 version works without issues.

EDIT: it turns out that the issue is present in both windows versions 2015 and 2017, I just figured it out today's morning.

    What can I do!?
I have spoken with the manager this morning about updating everything, and His said yes about Windows 10 and Office 2019 except for the accountant's PC Office 2010.
    This sounds good.

Yes, using EOL'd products could become a bigger cost than upgrading now. Potential loss of money is a good motivation.

Don't use Macros nor online features, and it can still work for some time.
