How to upgrade from W7/8.1 without going through the complete upgrade process

    Yes you are right my VM in acer is now activated Windows 10 Pro Digital License, Acer is factory preinstall with 10 Home, i generated the GenuineTicket.xml from VM windows 7sp1, can this VM xml be use as per first post?

    Since now my VM in acer is activated with Windows 10 Pro, will this mean the host PC acer also activated? the only reason I want the pro for the upcoming pro feature sandbox

    If you want Windows 10 Pro Digital License on your Acer (not VM as you already achieved) you either:
    1. Use tool and instructions pr PM I sent you (did you get PM I sent you?)or:
    2: Reinstall Acer with Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate and generate GenuineTicket.xml and reinstall with Windows 10 Pro pr instructions on #1

    You can not upgrade Windows 10 Home to Pro with GenuineTicket.xml pr instructions on #1

    this technique of "GenuineTicket.xml" still works as of today? Please advise.

    To elaborate, install windows 7 with Daz and then update it to up-to-date then generate GenuineTicket.xml using gatherosstate.exe and then fresh install of windows 10 with this ticket get the digital license. Does it still work ?

    because above considered warez unlike usual kms tools for trial purposes and buy if you like :)

    I respect that but it is so easy to do even the manually method. as long the staff choice was not made on system security\virus concern then all good however I used it and it so simple

    Don't think the choice was made with concern about Security or Virus it's a matter of take down of MDL because of such tools imho

    A couple questions about the “GenuineTicket” method as described on page one:
    Will this work with new releases of Win10 or does it have to be a older version?
    Once this is done and hopefully validated is it possible to dump it if the wife cannot stand Win10, reinstall Win7 with OEM restore set on OEM PC and still be valid or is it a one way trip?
    Lenovo W541 laptop, UEFI, original factory install=Win7 pro.
    Planed upgrade to en_windows_10_consumer_edition_version_1809_updated_feb_2019_x64_dvd_258dbd0b.iso

    With the GenuineTicket method: use gatherosstate.exe or earlier.
    I had problems with GenuineTicket from Windows 10 1803 for some non-clear reason.

    Followed steps on first post. Upgraded W7 Ultimate on a Lenovo TS140 to W10 Pro version 1809 fresh install with genuine ticket method. Activated just fine. Thanks... Made sure W7 was fully updated including drivers.

    It is still working with W10 Pro version 1903 April 2019 release.

    Im trying the vmware approach to activate my new win10 pc.

    But wondering how to upgrade my win7 vmware installation?
    What to do after using daz loader to activate and running the gatherosstate.exe?
    Do I then create a new win10 vmware and use the GenuineTicket.xml?
