It will disappear, but that's normal. Most likely you have a not supported system or didn't do it correct.
Generate the genuineticket.xml again. If it is not activating, the genuineticket.xml was not generated properly. I have run into cases where generating the ticket again will fix it. Word of warning, if the first time it failed, you might need to reinstall win10 or re-deploy from image, then insert the new ticket.
You did install the proper windows 10 edition i may hope? If the ticket is for 10 Pro, you should have installed 10 Pro and if the ticket is for 10 Home, you should have installed 10 Home (i ask just to verify) To be able to generate the ticket again he has to reinstall the windows he generated it on. He could first try to stop de clipserver, take the system of the net and reinsert the generated ticket.xml, reboot and after rebooting go online and check.
thx for the reply i have a win 8.1 64 bit pro oem and installed win 10 pro 64 bit i did all the steps offline and then gone online i will generate a new ticket and install win 10 again thx
If you save it as noted in OP it will be on usb ..safe 2.2 Run it on your activated and validated Windows. It'll output GenuineTicket.xml. Save this on a USB thumb drive or something. edit: I saved both GenuineTicket.xml & gatherosstate.exe on usb. good luck!
Hi, I'm planning to upgrade my windows 8.1 install activated with KMS, I know the first post says KMS activation doesn't work but I've previously updated using the regular update another machine activated with KMS. Has anyone tried it using this method, or should I do a regular update using assistive technologies and a clean install afterwards? Thank You
Real upgrade will work, will show MAK activation but when you do a clean install afterwards it will say Digital License. No need for any assistive tech, just start setup from a mounted/unpacked iso/usb/dvd. Genuineticket.xml won't work, some say it will, never saw them explain how
