I used this methods 10th of times, and never had to install any driver. Install win7, Daz loader, gatherosstate and that's it. I don't even connect win7 to the internet at any time.
The win 7 generic drivers would be sufficient, you only need device manager not to show yellow exclamation marks or red crosses. Internet is necessary when a real upgrade starts, it sends the hashes for the HWID. For this method it's not needed, though the online genuine validation is not needed but it can be helpfull to check if your win 7 is activated and not corrupted by ie removewat, which only shows activation but really isn't.
In some cases, Windows 10 did not activate with a ticket from a clean Windows 7. installing drivers solved the problem. I think it has to do with Windows 7 not recognizing hardware in newer boards while Windows 10 recognizes everything and fails to accept it as the same computer/laptop
I'm having this problem at the beginning of the installation: "a required CD/DVD drive device is missing”g. If you have a driver floppy disk, cd, dvd, or usb flash drive please insert now." and if I rescan it it says: "no device drivers were found. Make sure that the installation media contains the correct drivers, and then click ok." I don't know what is the problem, could you help me please? Edit: I'm trying everything I found, if I can do it I'll tell you.
DAZ' Windows Loader only works on UEFI/GPT formatted systems when a valid slic exists in the bios. You could install win 8.1 and use a KMS activator (KMSpico 10.2.0, KMS_VL_ALL by abbodi1406 or MTK2.6.2) and do a real upgrade to 10. You have to use 10586 aka 1511 iso for the upgrade, to establish a HWID, and next you can do a clean install using the latest officially released windows (15063).
So for me, I have to forget doing it in Win7? And with the WIn 8.1 I could get a forever valid HWID? Edit:Could it b possible to use another activator for doing it in Win 7 SP1? just to simplify everything.
Guys i tested it today & still working.. win7+daz+IE-->GenuineTicket ---> clean install Windows 10 -> copy GenuineTicket --> restart ==> done.. Thx u all for the help
This is not true at all. no need of UEFI or GPT or VALID SLIC or any stupid MS/intel invention. daz way/7 works on any common mainboard even with ddr1 and sata1 hdd. or ide hdd there are not restrictions. maybe some hardware in 10 can cause problems with or missing old drivers , but nothing related with the activation. or you can have problems with 7 install on new computers with new chipsets and/or cpus. but is doable . just read how to do it properly. /edit and yes still works these days. and is the fastest method. only need to have an internet connection alive . no other drivers are needed [4 restarts on 20..30 minutes] c
Because not installing drivers might give you a different hardware signature. Only devices that are accessible at the time of signature creation will be accounted for.
Just learn to read what i said..... MBR = DAZ Loader always works GPT: 1. No valid slic = no worky 2. valid slic = worky
OK , thank you very much for clarifications I use only legacy boot without GPT . DAZ is 100% working till now. I don't have experience with UEFI and/or GPT and/or slic Q : what advantage can you have if use UEFI/gpt instead of legacy boot/MBR ? unless a very fast boot , which with ssd no matter [maybe I will change my opinion.] if win 10 detect in bios an oem licence 7/8.x anyway will autoactivate if you run a clean install with the proper version [home -> home ...] c
The only advantage of using UEFI/GPT is that the limitation of max 4 primary partitions MBR is 128 GPT and for (booting) drives >2TB. But the loader is not only meant for piracy, it can install the correct certificates and key on legit slic systems too. On UEFI with slic it only installs the certificates and key, if there is no valid slic it will try to install the bios loader part and that will fail because it needs the MBR bootsector. On legacy BIOS/MBR installs it's the same but now it also can install the bios loader to emulate the OEM system.
@Yen @Tito Can you help me to get genuine licence of Windows 10 pro? Currently I'm using Windows 8.1 single language factory installed on my Lenovo laptop.
