Did you have LAN drivers in your windows 7 install?
Failure to convert genuine tickets means means that the genuineticket wasn't generated properly.
Missing drivers in the windows 7 install will cause it, and especially, missing LAN

No. It was installed on Hyper-V. But Windows 7 Pro version was okay though. However I did traditional way described in first page, then got activated successfully.

    Hello, folks!

I need help, i read a lot stuff on MDL now, and to not lose my self in this beautiful labyrinth of ideas, i need a detailed explanation, what kind of Windows 7 ( Retail / OEM / Volume ) should i use, so i can later upgrade to newer Windows 10 versions (Example: 1709) and remain permanently activated. My Question is: If i use Windows 7 Pro Retail (MSDN) and Activate it with ( DAZ Loader) do i need to use a specific Windows 10 ( Example: Windows 10 Pro ISO/Retail Build 10240/1511 ) to keep my Activation HWID ( linked with a Microsoft Account ) so i can use it later even if i change my Hardware. And another question, does the trick with the "gatherosstate.exe" ( to create GenuineTicket.xml ) still work ?

PS: Can someone provide the ISO-Links (ENGLISH/US) so i can try it for myself ?

    THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

My last question: My PC doesn't provide neither a valid SLIC (Vista/7/Server) nor a MSDM (8.x/10), will this work on my PC, because it is not a manufacture PC (Asus/Dell/HP) it is a customised built PC ???

Once you have established the Digital License, providing you are reinstalling the same Edition (Pro in this case) then you just install w10 Pro (skip any prompts about a key - if any appear), then once you are connected to the internet it should re-activate automatically.

The only time you would need to re-do the Win7 --> GenuineTicket way is if you change the motherboard, but you could link your activation to a Microsoft Account which will allow you to transfer the License to another motherboard for the Pro Edition.

    Hello

My window 7 pro to 10 pro successfuly activated via toolkits offline followed all steps .

    Problem
I lost my usb with geniunticket.xml and had to format my pc to do the same steps again.

Installed win7 then activated with daz loader downloaded win10 from media tool
    But This time ghasstros.exe won't create geniunticket.xml
    I only made ei.cfg

By installing win10 i selected win10 pro activated it with toolkit
Now it shows me win 10 enterprise edition

Pls help why cant create geniun and why switched to enterprise

You're already activated. You don't have to create geniuneticket.xml again. Just clean install windows 10 again and it'll activate.

Post is confusing. Did you apply the genuineticket after the first Win 10 install?

The instructions don't require any "toolkit." Are you sure you followed the instructions?

When you're on Win 10 there's no need for the Toolkit, apply the ticket, go online and reboot the machine.

Did you install the drivers for Win 7 (mainboard and network at least)? Not sure why you installed Win 10 without a ticket, what did you expect, magic activation?

The Toolkit needs an update it detects the edition wrongly and therefor activates as enterprise.

    No pointless actionism :D.

#1. Install Win 7 and activate with the Loader, install most mandatory drivers (mainboard and network, this is needed to create proper genuineticket!!!)

#2. Use gatherosstate.exe to create the ticket file and keep it safe this time.

#3. Install Win 10. Put the ticket to folder mentioned in post 1, go online and reboot (being online is mandatory!!!).

#4. No need to fiddle with any other tools, especially MS Toolkit!

Yeah, Win 10 installs them during setup but Win 7 needs manual intervention with the drivers needed for a proper hardware ID..

Note that you'll need to activate Win 7 properly with the Windows Loader by Daz to generate a valid ticket.
