When the Windows ISO contains more than the Professional index (the most ISOs contain Home, Pro and some more) the ei.cfg file is needed.
Thanks s1ave77 i followed your steps .now i was able to creat geniuneticket.xml again after installing all drivers succefully I did ei.cfg in source .i selected win10 pro from list to clean install Will this method replace my win10 home bios license wittch was preinstalled on my pc?
It will not replace the other license, the HWIDs can be stacked for a machine. I have VMs with ~6 HWIDs assigned to them and all work side-by-side, would assume @Enthousiast can top this count.
ok .now activated my win pro succesfully coud u pls tell me wat best method to update offline ? how about wsus offline updater ?

Hey guys, I finally decided to get a new computer and went all in on an HP Spectre x360. It should be arriving in a few days. I noticed it comes with Windows 10 Home installed, I would like to upgrade that to Professional, so I'm thinking of doing the Windows 7/DAZ/gatherosstate/Windows 10 clean install method. But I've read that since this computer only has USB 3.0, Windows 7 might not be able to install since Windows 7 doesn't come with the drivers for USB 3.0 by default. I've read some ways to create a custom ISO whereby you can add your own USB 3.0 drivers, but I thought I'd ask on here first to see if someone has already created/shared an ISO with the needed drivers. Thanks in advance!
I can't seem to get this to work. Here are my steps: I installed a clean install of Windows 7 SP1 x64 English (There doesn't seem to be a uk or english international version). I ran Daz Loader and got activated offline. I ran gatherosstate from desktop from a Windows 10 iso and got the GenuineTicket. I clean installed Windows 10 Threshold 2 x64 english international iso (with ei.cfg in sources so I could pick pro) and when finished I rebooted. I copied GenuineTicket.xml to C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\ClipSVC\GenuineTicket. I rebooted again. I went online. I checked to see if Windows 10 Pro is activated I now have this showing in activation window: "Activation failed because this device doesn't have a valid digital entitlement or product key. Error code: 0x803F7001" Please help me solve this. I really want a digital entitlement. Thank you.
Do you still have the genuineticket.xml? If so, run this in an elevated cmd: Code: clipup -v -o -altto x:\ x:\ being the place where the genuineticket is saved.
I got a "Failed to convert one or more genuine authorization tickets on disk licenses. 0 licenses converted out of 1. First encountered error: 0xC03F6609."
