Can it be done? so far I can only get it to do a new install or upgrade and I lose all my app installs. Thank in advance.
It's depend how you activated your current win 8.1, kms or mak? If kms just install fresh win10ent and do kms again. If mak you need new mak key.
Its very simple get your new copy of windows 10 Ent I suggest you stick with the regular win 10 ent, and keep far away from windows 10 ltsb and you will save yourself lots of long term head aches when you get your iso throw it in a folder on your desktop and un-compress it from an iso into that folder and just run set up with admin rights and you will be good it should take an hour or less to upgrade just sit back. Regarding activation your on your own
Stick with Windows 10 Pro my suggestion Anything that is Volume Licensed or M$ Partnered is asking for weird OS behaviour by sneaked in shut down patches unless you are a fully paid member in good standing with M$ Volume Partner Group

These KMS tools always will give your computer/unit a shut down sneaked in shut down patch sooner then later in these times. sneaked in shut down patch = before you know it your system goes nuts and your ready for another complete format Don't waste your time backing up or cloning a system that cracked, or in the grey standards when it comes to activation It never will fail, lots of Windows 7 and Windows 8 machines are feeling that above affect I am touching on as we speak and for the last some time (based on correct data and watching time to time what folks are saying in forums like this one and many others)
