Follow these simple steps to upgrade to enterprise:

    1. Download updown8 v1.3 here
    2. Select Enterprise edition and ok button.
    3. Insert Enterprise installation media and run sources\setup.exe
    4. Skip updates with No thanks and Select Upgrade.

    Stuff required:

Enterprise installation media x86 or x64
    updown8 v1.3

    Optional:
Xdelta Patch: Convert Enterprise Eval to Enterprise x86 & x64 here

    Faq:

Q: Will this keep my metro apps too?.
    A: Yes it should work.

Q: Hmm windows border color is white?.
A: Use high contrast theme and select aero again.

Q: Why is the System32\wlms\wlms.exe still present in enterprise?.
A: wlms service folder can be safely deleted as its not part of enterprise sku.

Q: Can Enterprise Eval be downgraded to Core or Pro.
    A: Maybe haven't tried.

I have W8 Enterprise Eval on a tablet. Installing W8 requires installing all the drivers and from what I've read, it is not always successful. As such, can I use UpDown8 to change the W8EE to something else and then use a good W8 key to upgrade to 8.1 AND keep all the drivers?

I'm not sure how clear the instructions here are and I'm getting no use out of it right now so I will detail my steps and someone let me know what I'm doing wrong.

    1. Run UpDown
    2.Select Windows 8 Enterprise
3.Message appears "Insert Installation Media and run Sources/setup.exe"
    4.Click ok
    5.Insert Installation USB
    6.Run souces/setup.exe
7.Click "No Thanks" to updates, click Upgrade option
    8. "Windows 8 Enterprise Eval cannot be upgraded to Windows 8 Enterprise Eval"

I just want to know what I'm doing wrong because I'm sure that I'm using the program incorrectly.
