My pc is Gigabyte B450 Aorus M mobo with Ryzen 5600g Cpu with built-in Vega 5 graphics that output HDMI display. Now I purchased Zebronics 5.1 speaker system which has HDMI ARC input support. Problem is that my PC only output one HDMI that goes to monitor. Can I use Sounce HDMI Bi-Directional splitter from CPU to split signal in to 2 and use one cable to monitor and other to Zebronics speakers ?

Speakers has optical input also so if HDMI audio video simultaneous splitting is not possible , can I use HDMI to HDMI and audio extractor to use optical output instead ?

Maybe you can get the S/PDIF Out daughter board/adapter which your motherboard has the header for. They are pretty cheap. Connect that instead...

Great idea. I didn't know about this. May be I ignored mobo capabilities that I have. That adapter is ranging from 20 $ to 50 $. I have to look for quality and budget. If you have any idea of how much audio quality loss between 5.1 stereo to RCA cables compared to SPDIF output ? I am using 3 cables to get correct 5.1 output. Is it more or negligible ? Only want to spend money if difference is great.

Sorry I've never compared. My PC is just stereo. I use SPDIF from my media player to my amp. I doubt you'd hear the difference tho...

Finally I bought 120 watt 5.1 philips speakers without HDMI or Optical inputs. I went with my conscience for better and old model. No need of optical / HDMI QA now.
