Hi, I've searched a lot for any way for how to setup office 2019 beside OneNote 2016 but did not work for me and all over the web everyone says it can not be. I remember a thread here for a trick or a script to install Office 2019 on windows 7 which is not allowed because minimum requirements are windows 10. So I thought if there is any way to install OneNote 2016 then install office 2019. The reason is I am in a situation that I must use office 2019 according to work policy but I need OneNote for a lot of old work as well that is still going on. When I tried the Windows 10 OneNote application I've found it missing a lot of features. I hope if someone may help me with this. Thanks a lot
it should be possible under certain conditions. Normally people cannot install two products together that have the same version, but use different installation technologies. That's the rule that you can read on MS website. So if we go by that rule, that means that it's possible to apply a scenario as the one you want to do. So again if we go by that rule, you have to install OneNote 2016 VL and Office 2019 C2R (by not selecting OneNote 2019 and choosing all the other programs) as it uses this technologie to make this work. Install office 2019 using YAOCTRI. I haven't tested this, i only reasoned in a logic way based on the information i found. So test this scenario and see the result.
ok i missed an important information which is that office 2016 and office 2019 have the same version 16.0 we could think that they are different versions but it's not the case and this is where i got it wrong so i don't think it can be possible to apply the scenario that you want to do. I'm not sure. Wait and see what the other members will offer you as solution or not.
Uninstall MSI, yes. It´s not mandatory in that order but there is one thing to observe and i quote: "Note: If you installed OneNote 2016 before you install and activate Office 365 or Office 2019, then the license that appears in OneNote 2016 will display as “Home and Student.” Once you’ve activated your edition of Office and then restart OneNote 2016, the license associated with Office will be added to OneNote 2016 as a second license, even though the default license will still display as “Home and Student.” As long as your edition of Office is properly activated, OneNote 2016 will have all of the capabilities that require an Office license."
Does there is any offline version for what is being downloaded because it takes a lot of time and bandwidth so far.

If you used office deployment tool or YAOCTRI, you should have OneNote app installed with Office 2019 without any issues
Thanks a lot May I ask for where exactly I should place these files beside or in another location regarding the Office 2019 & 2016 .iso files or to extract .iso to a regular folder.
They can coexist if they have different versions. For example : you can install office 2019 and office 2013 VL, they have C2R and MSI (different technlogies) and have different versions at the same time (16.0 and 15.0)
But I do not want 2013 but I need 2016. Does there is .msi for office 2016? because I've only c2r version of 2019? Thanks
yes i know, i only posted an example to show that C2R and MSI could coexist. Yes office 2019 exist only in C2R Office 2016 uses both technologies (C2R and MSI).
I've downloaded a torrent has VL in its title but when I tried to install it after 2019 it failed, so I guess it is not .msi. Where to download a guaranteed .msi version? Thanks
To be clear, you cannot install office 2016 VL and office 2019 as they have the same version. In this case and as i mentionned above, despite of using different technologies, they cannot coexist because they have same version.
