BigMuscle said back on 3/21: As it is now released on MSDN, Microsoft is now serving the symbols updates. If you donated to BM, as of today around noon, it just downloaded them and it started working again. You can download them manually as well now.
Guess it's because I tried in VMware, it posted a error about "not compatible DWM", and didn't go away even after reboot.
Here is does not working. After downloaded that archive I created that folder in C:\ called AeroGlass and inside of it I pasted copyed symbols from the archive...after setup Windows does not want login and the application tells me that my WDM is not compatible.I tried many times to make it Works no luck.
when I go to the aero glass site to download it, theres a newer version 1.3. would that one work with this also?
thanks.just went back there and see that now.duh. though don't know if it was there before and I just didn't read(see it) or if it was just added.
I've never used Aero Glass before so I have a question: Isn't aero suppose to work out-of-the box with Aero Glass installed without the symbols folder copied to the installation folder? Also I need the watermark removed.
You need to create C:\AeroGlass\symbols folder, then copy over the content of matching symbols folder from the archive. Do not copy any other files!
I was done with this before using the setup.Still no working. This is the content what I pasted in the folder.:
And the AeroGlass setup creates a folder C:\AeroGlass itself during tht setup. Here is something wrong....After system restore as single way to make this computer works here I found two folders named AeroGlass in the root of C:\ :One created by me before setup, another one created by setup
As said, no clue what the other files are for. I copied only the content of symbols folder from the package and pasted to C:\AeroGlass\symbols, not the other files included, then installed AeroGlass 1.2.1.
