I have been trying to find a way to disable my whitelist for a few weeks now. I know it can be done as there is an expired link on the forum to a WL removed version of this very bios(efi).

    1. What I have tried so far, editing with Pheonix Tools selecting NO SLIC and allow user to modify all modules. (Doesn't boot, automatically enters recovery loop)

    2. Decompile and edit the module via Pheonix Tools. (same result as above)

    3. Edit the whitelist to allow my card. (Hit and miss as to whether or not it will boot, doesn't accept card)

To disable the whitelist I used a tutorial I found online for another computer as a guide. I think I have found the jump that needs to be replaced, as well as the whitelist, in the WLAN module.

Please help, I am willing to work on my own (actually prefer it TBH) but I am stuck and kinda in over my head on this one.

    Thanks in advance.

I already tried that, doesn't boot. It gets stuck on a blank screen with the capslock LED flashing. Could my problems be in any way associated with a failed downgrade from F.20?

I have realized that since I downgraded I have been unable to boot the computer without the battery present. I also have been having to explicitly state the chip type when using the programmer, I will try to completely erase and reflash the chip later tonight to see if that helps.

I cant help but think that the downgrade from F.20 has something to do with the error I am receiving. I will be ordering a few blank chips to play around with. I know that it is possible to downgrade using a programmer (which I have) but is there anything in particular I should be watching out for?

On a side-note, does anyone know which version of the DMIFIT utility supports my laptop? I lost my serial number etc. during the first downgrade.
