I wish I had entered my info into this before downloading Win 8. According to HP they are not providing drivers for my desktop PC....www8.hp.com/us/en/ad/windows-8/instructions.html
Hopefully you really don'[t believe that! HP isn't very fast with some driver updates to latest OS's and so Atheros isn't! HP had need more than a year to haver the drivers for some Printers ready and fully working for Windows 7, just as an example!
Yes i did, then ran the install to update the driver and got this error at the end.. however it has updated the driver version, but still got code 10
call HP support and ask for a solution. It seems that they are sleeping on some proper drivers to issue
HP is one of the worts companies in Thailand! They listing parts in the Advertisments and if you call them or even enter them Head Office they din't know what are you talking about. And showing them their own advertisements, they shaking just the head and say: "Sorry, Sir, we din't have that product!" So better don't expect anything from HP!
This is unbelievable. years ago, HP had a good reputation but it seems that this time is over. Honestly, I never used an HP computer but only printers which are quite well
it seems that the original, injected into windows install.wim, is corrupted. how can I remove from the wim file?
Last excperiences with HP were 1 month ago: HP is a Producer of an WiFi Mobile Mouse (not Wireless!) and have listed that Mouse in Thailand for THB 1,090.00 which is about US$ 35.00! Got the info from HP Thailand, HP didn't have that Mouse. I asked for to order from foreign Branch, answere: "No Sir, HP didn't have that Mouse!" and even repeated after I show that Branch Manager the HP Website with that Mouse! I had no choice and finally ordered the Mouse via HP Website and paid US$ 39,00 for the Mouse and US$ 49.00 for Express-Shipment! Nice Deal with HP, OR?! Unfortunately HP is the only producer of such Mouse. And I was need it because my Acer Laptop has 3 USB Ports only while 1 of that 3 is USB 3.0! I'm in need of 4 ports if I need to use the mouse, which I need because of problems with my hand, and no Bluetooth, so WiFi is the only way. OK, I have it now for more that double the cost as promoted by the manufacturer HP! If possible I will not buy anything from them again!
