Hi im looking for a version of the HP Bios for the elitebook 6390p
    F16 last u/d on 14th December 2009
Does anyone know where I can find it? Ive searched everywhere.

If not that exact one - please can you tell me a bit about HP/Compaq bios versions. Are they all in succession? So does F16 always follow F15 follows F14 etc?
Also if there is another machine out there with a different model number like the Compaq xxxx and it has F16 is that the same as the HP xxx with F16 and the other manufacturer with F16 also or are they model and manufacturer specific?

    Thanks
    ZEN

Found something, but not sure if it's the one you are looking for. The release dates are different to the one you mentioned (probably newer revisions)

See here and here. HP says:

Do you mean elitebook 6930p, if so can you look here:
    http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsuppor...688868&swLang=13&taskId=135&swEnvOID=4053#120

I think you can update to any latest version (i.e. from F15 to F18 or F19), but maybe you can't go backward.

HP/Compaq bios are not compatible with each other, F16 bios for different models are not the same, you have to look to original version like 68CCU or 68CCD and so on

Thanks for your help, you have helped me find the files I needed.
I have two versions of Rom.bin one older and one newer. Is there any programs out there to use other than EzH2O and the hex editor so I can compare the contents? Like modbin and CBROM?
