hi guys my friend in Paris sent me an compaq 2230s. But this ask me a Bios administrator password or HP-2979ECD9583\hp password in F10 menu in Boot options menu everywhere i try it ask me that. What can i do to remove that knowing the friend said he don't know the pass and he bought that in ebay.
i don't think that is a stolen machine but i'm sure that the the guy is missing in ebay. we cannot contact him for aking him the bios password this is why im asking that in this forum if someone ca help me.
