    Hello!
After I flashed the BIOS everything seemed OK, untill I tried to boot in while on battery. The initial screen shows, the power light flashes in amber color, then the machine goes off. With the charger connected everything is well. If I boot on with charger connected and later disconnect it is OK too.

Please, advice me what should I do? The current new BIOS version, I think is F.0E

Have you tried to take battery out and then press the power button to discharge the laptop. Wait a few minutes and then re-instate the battery. Does the problem disapear.
I have the HP6720s with a similar problem and i no that its my battery which is the problem. I bought a new battery and the problem doesnt exist with the new battery

You mean the power, not the BIOS battery, right? Yes, I did what you suggested but the problem persist.

I ran HP Battery Check on it, it showed 100% OK
I found an older version of the BIOS but HPQFlash wont accept it, it says it is an older version than the current. How can I skip this verification?
