Hi, I can't flash my slic bios found on mdl;the pc is hp d530 CMT (DC577AV); my mobo it's P4SD REV 1.09 with pentium 4 2.4 Ghz; the bios system is 786B2 V2,44. I tried the SP40411 with cabpck14 to change my slic bios "P4SD_SLIC.rar" 512Ko in .bin changed in cab it makes 299Ko. but hpqflash didn't want my ROM.CAB PATCHED Hpqflash,ADDCC, doesn't work ;DOSFLASH it's also special with flshlite which works with special file .22C. I m very tired; I m searching for a hammer!!! Is Rw soft a part of the solution? I just hope to find a flash tool who works. Thanks for your help.
Ha daniel6, After nearly a week of digging I've also gone near nuts about this issue. I've got a D330 which as I understand is the same mainboard but in a different case. It seems now that someone cracked this nut : hXXp://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/5864-Phoenix-bios-SLIC-mod-requests-(*-WPH-or-*-ROM-files)/page1918 I have PM'd the person hoping to get a re-post of that particular BIOS. Holding my breath at the moment )
one old trick for slic 2.0 flash to 2.1 was to use a hexeditor and load from ram and edit right before the flash... maybe thats the way they did it
