HP dv2000 model# 2125nr does not accept slic2.1. please help

    Thanks Yen, I check the link you provided but there;s no download link to phlash 1700. i check in Bios Tools and it's only have Phlash16 v1.4.59a. i google phlash 1700 nothing show

    where can i download phlash v17? thx. one more question, why does my dv2000 does not accept DMI tool. i make a bootable CD and it boot from CD. then i do cd z: then i type hpbi103 read slp and it said "asset utility ver 1.02 copyright 2006 HP read failed. errorcode=0x86. i even try hpbc228 and it said this utility is not used on this platform. thx

    Thank you. I use phlash161700 and it cmd command and my dv2125nr finally a slic2.1. i do not need to use DMI Tool for changing non-vista to vista in the bios setup.
