    any1 bought a hp dv6 in 2011 and installed win 8?

    is switchable graphics working on win 8?

    Switchable Graphic Cards working on Windows 8. I use an Acer Aspire 4752G with switchable cared (Intel and Nvidia) wie no problems. So, your HP should also works. All you have to do is to install both drivers.

    so this leshcatlabs is a third party software replacing the stock Catalyst software to switch between my AMD and intel graphics?

    Not exactly; it enables support for new drivers without depending on the notebook manufacturer.
