hp dv7 2198eo just died

    Hi, my hp pavilion dv7-2198eo just died during a bios update. Now I have got black screen and get these caracteristic bip sounds. I called HPsupport and they said that I need a new systemboard. Anyone here that has got another solution, please:eek:

    I couldn't recover it ....perhaps I don't understand how to use the recovery method explained in your link
