    Hi

    first sorry for my bad english

    i have a big problem with my hp laptop,my leds are flashing 2x times and the screen is black ,so its the bios failure, i´ve tried everything what i found in this and other forums, but with no success

    my bios is not uefi so I put all files in root

    PlatformName=3635
    PlatformName2=3636
    PlatformName3=3637
    PlatformName4=3638
    PlatformName5=3639
    PlatformName6=363A

    it works only with 3639.bin, when I take other names it suddenly shutoff,
    with 3639.bin it beeps 2 times fast and then for a minute all 10 sec , no restart or something else, screen remain black and 2 leds are flashing 2xtimes

    what I tried: alle platformnames with .fd,.rom,.bin, also A.bin
    new ram, gpu reflow

    hope you can help me

    regards

    not sure.. ive never had success with non RSA .. i use .sig file and works.
    try a 0 in front of numbers on filename.
    ask hp forums ?

    I have connected the hdd to a working computer , found a partition with hp_tools, there is only a hewlettpackard/systemdiags folder with cryptrsa.efi, SystemDiags.sig, SystemDiags.s09, SystemDiags.efi

    is this helpful ?

    they take at least a day to reply, if they even do.

    u could get a usb spi programmer and try to recover chip by making a backup.bin then we merge bios with a hexeditor and flash fixed.bin to see if it works.

    or u can try a bios chip from ebay, much easier.. if it works (%10 chance it might not be right bios in chip but they tend to fix the issue with second chip)

    need DMI tool for that board like NBDMIFIT 1.19

    all the info is under battery .. except GUID which is a randomized number/letter

    or maybe hotswap bios (to change chip while in dos ready to swap and flash) and flash old ?
