After flash the latest mod bios (V1.14 with SLIC2.1) and computer cannot move forward. When computer boot up, only HP blue screen (F9, F10... appear) then stop with a cursor flashing, press F10 - same - only cursor flashing, cannot go into bios set up. no sound bit, nothing, press Control + Home key - nothing, plug in USB flash with new bios image and boot again - same. looks like the boot block is still there (HP Blue screen still there) but cannot go forward, cannot get inside bios setup..etc. anybody help? tried the Award bios recovery method, nothing happen either USB drive or floppy drive. many thanks.
If this is a laptop, than remove the batterij, waite few minutes, put battery back. Try booting now. This could reset the bios to it's standard values.
it is a desktop, had removed the battery for whole date, set the cmos jumper to clear for whole day, same situation. thanks

I have the same problem you had with the bios stuffing up when trying to flash a 2.1 slic.. How did you fix it ? Do you have the 2.1 slic bios that you got from a chinese website ?
I downloaded the latest bios from HP website, and tried to use the AwardTool, and it said that the bios has already the SLIC 2.0 added using the Dynamic method, and I didn't continue as i don't want to mess things up. I downloaded the file from the Chinese website, and tried to open it with AwardTool, and this time it gives 2 warning, first one that there is a SLIC 2.1 added with the ISA method, then another one about SLIC 2.0 added with dynamic method, so does this file really contain 2 slics ??
