hp laptop cant locate oem cert

    hi,

    i cant seem to locate the oem cert xrm-ms file on a new hp laptop. it came with win 7 home prem 64-bit installed and i am trying to locate the cert manually but to no avail. i have set the options to view hidden as well as protected system files.

    i do not see an oem dir under c:\windows\system32\ ...so then i tried to locate the tokens.dat file and was hoping to extract the cert but i cant seem to find the tokens.dat file either...

    i did a search for *.xrm-ms files and there were a ton of files that popped up but none along the lines of oem-cert.xrm-ms or hp.xrm-ms etc...

    any help/direction would be much appreciated. thank you.

    hey thanks. found the tokens.dat...so did u use that and then extract the cert info from there?

    I actually use slicdump to check slic status and backup certs
