Yes i have original bios , but i cannot extract Rom image. I have programmer for bios chips , and i have tried with Ami tools on Usb stick but no luck. Btw laptop stops at welcome screen.
make backup of original chip.. then compare bios to the backup. stopsat welcome screen.. test ram or hdd.
Original bios is in .exe format , i cant do compare. I need rom image backup from working laptop. Tested ram & hdd there are ok. I did try to extract with Win zip and other programs but no luck. I repair laptop motherboards(Chip level repair) and often i need to flash bios, but this is first time that i cannot extract bios from original bios update. I can run bios exe in dos but there is no command for dumping binary(.rom) image (like \writeromfile switch wich i use for dell bios).
