    Thanks Ttav134 for reply. Which cert and id number do I use with bios.I have Win7 ultimate installed.Thanks in advance.:)

    use an HP cert and any ultimate key.

    Sorry to be a noob and for posting here vs creating a thread, but i am confused as hell about these modded bios. I have had no issue flashing my bios with the ones provided one in the linked thread above, but what exactly is the point. I was under the impression modded oem bios allowed for more customization, but i see no difference (no extra settings or anything). My hope was that I would be able to modify the setting for the graphics chip to allow more ram to be associated with it.

    EDIT: If it isn't clear by me posting here, I am doing this on a nc6400

    thanks, i have no idea what SLIC is, so I figured it was a modding term or something differing OEM from regular bios (of course i never bothered googleing to actually figure out what it is, haha).

    anyways, thanks, i guess i'll mess around with the tools at that thread.

    EDIT: any suggestions on tools to use for this particular motherboard? (nc6400)
