Try google just put in the correct model specs e.c.t or start reading you can make your own from info on the forum
Yeah, I would look into making your own OEM DVD for HP. Alot of the stuff floating around has loader and god knows what else in them. I downloaded a so-called HP Ultimate OEM disk only to find out it's really a modified ISO by BIE. I'd get my mitts on an untouched ISO and then add whatever you need to complete it.
allright cheers every one ill sus one out... ill prob just make my own oem disc that uses the newest current oem slp keys and make it able to select your own verision sohuldnt be that hard.... deleted the ei.ini file and adding thr %oem folder blah blah blah . to bad hp hasnt relesed a ----- ulitment key yet :@ EDIT: Please refrain from using bad language my friend. Purchased a newest Pavilion dv8 with Windows 7 HomePremium preinstalled, can confirm that installed SLP key is the same that's in Sticky, and that the package doesn't include any discs at all, just instructions and other papers, adapter and remote control. So, i don't think HP makes brand oem discs. Customers are provided with restore partition inside their laptops instead.
This will be the rule, not the exception..you will find. I believe the fact that you actually do not purchase the OS anymore has something to do with it..the only thing you own is the machine and the privilege to use the OS..kind of like a warped lease agreement. Even buying a retail copy does not give you ownership of that copy, simply using something that can be taken back...AFAIK anyway..
Uploading modified iso's are restricted at the moment due to the fact that we already have so many of them... I would suggest you just post a how to...
