Hp Pavilion DV1000

    Friends,
    I am really new to all this please be pacient with me.
    where should I start, can i please get some guideness.
    I have an HP notebook HP Pavilion dv1000, with a Phornix Bios ?

    what do i need and which toold i should use?

    I was able to boot using my flash , i was able to run phlash16 using the command
    it run to 99% then i get an error say that my flash drive is too big:confused::confused:
    any help please

    I 1st used 1GB flash , then I used 128MB same result

    When are you geting the error ??
    After you execute the phlash comand or ??
    And what is runing to 99% ?? flashing proces..programing the chip or ?

    i mean using my 1 GB USB Stick then i used 128 USB Stick
    the error message is:
    -------phoenix phlash16 error -------
    |Flash driver interface too big ! |
    | press any key to reboot |
    ------------------------------------

    this is happeing when Loading image file BIOS.WPH

    Can you please install Everest and check what is the version of your bios and post back.
    It is posible that you are trying to flash with the wrong bios version or with the wrong tool.
    Sorry for my previous post...:(

    Sorry for the misunderstanding..
    Your bios is newer (F23) than the one you've been trying (F22A).
    Do a request at this thread and provide a direct download link for the bios you want modded:

    what do you mean by providing a direct link to the bois? where can i get that please

    where can i get the link to my bios? or how can i download the one i have now?

    Well i thought to cut it short, so i downgrade my Bios to F22.:) no biggy anyways the F23 only fix the battery metter.
    when i boot using my flash stick and using phlash16 etc i am still getting the same error
    :mad::eek:

    But i3igmind alredy bricked, recoverd and once again using the same mod wich bricked his board activated Vista.

    Good Night,

    I have a great trouble, i update my HP 1439us Pavilion Notebook with this modded BIOS and my laptop does not start.

    I start in windows running as administrator and end without problem, at finish him the laptop go shutdown, when i push on again, nothig happends.

    There are any way to come back?

    How i can recover my laptop?

    I appretiate any help
