    RAID HP Pavilion DV7I am spanish, sorry for my english.

    I have one HP Pavilion DV7-6b10es, this model have the posibility of install 2 hard drives but don´t have the raid support.

    It´s possible add this funcion ?
    this is the last official HP bios update for this model of laptop:

    InsideH20 rev. 3.5 v. F.01A

    Tengo un HP Pavilion DV7-6B10ES, este modelo tiene la posibilidad de añadir un segundo disco duro, pero parece ser que no dispone de la función RAID.

    Es posible añadir la funcionalidad RAID al bios?
    La ultima versión del bios para este modelo es:

    InsideH20 rev. 3.5 v. F.01A

    Not sure... but what about software RAID??

    First , what are you looking to get from Raid? A backup solution ? or speed?

    En primer lugar, ¿qué buscas de Raid? ¿Una solución de backup? ¿o velocidad?

    Quiero tener la posibilidad de aplicar ambas soluciones RAID 0 y RAID 1.

    Don´t have the same performance that hard raid.
    No tiene el mismo rendimiento que el RAID por hardware, además, por que usarlo si el chipset dispone de soporte raid?

    Alguien puede modificar el bios y añadir la funcionalidad RAID 0,1?

    Se puede modificar el ultimo bios del fabricante y añadirle la funcionalidad RAID 0 y RAID 1 al portatil?

    Muy probablemente este sea el ultimo producto de HP que compre.

    Después de actualizar el Bios a la ultima version y acceder a ella pulsando "ESC" al seleccionar la opcion "F10" si se pulsa rapidamente la tecla "A" aparece un menu oculto "Avanzado" en la configuración del BIOS.
