Thanks, but I can neither boot from floppy nor from CD. I can only enter the XP safe mode. (registry activation wont let me in and keeps saying "it is activated...ok" and then logs the user back out. The XP tool for cmospwd wants me to run ioperm 1st...as admin...which wont work in safe mode...but it wont start, giving me an error starting the service. Seems liek I cant even install a new OS. p.s. Managed to install plop bootmanager via safemode. Now Im trying to get my USB Floppy to work or boot from DOS USB stick. USB hangs even in mode 1.1 (1&2). :S
Was now able to fash the newer bios via USB DOS boot. Password still there... :S p.s. Your tool (in dos mode) enlisted some standard passwords for award 6.0. 000300 worked !!! ty ty ty !
