Alright, I have these HP Windows 7 restore discs that have no use because the place I bought it from lied to me. So as long as I'm stuck with them, I thought I'd do a bios flash of my Dell XPS 600 with the HP SLIC 2.1 and use these restore discs. I've done this before with no problem with the Dell SLIC, but with the HP, I got the bios flashed and everything works fine, but the restore discs don't work. I get the error message "The Restore Plus! CD/DVD is designed to correctly function on HP computer systems only." Is there anyway for me to get this to work correctly or am I just stuck with some useless junk that originally had no intention of buying?
Why bother? These disks are worth nothing, just download plain clean nice Win7, use OEM SLP key, certificate & forget about these disks sebus
