HP SLIC table missing

    hi,

    I'm new on this forum and in "mod bios".

    So, I have 2 notebooks HP Elitebook 85o G1 both they have identical configuration , BUT one it's have SLIC table and the second one doesn't have :(, i saw this with "RW Everything"/"SLIC_ToolKit_V3.2".
    Both laptops have the last version of bios from HP site L71 Ver. 01.30. ( http: h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?sp4ts.oid=5405106&swItemId=ob_144059_1&swEnvOid=4060 )

    1 - How can i "take" the SLIC table from first to put to second one.

    or

    2 - how can activate the SLIC table ?? because i made a backup of both bios and i write the BIOS 1 to the second notebook but the SLIC was not activated/appear.


    any ideea !?

    likely with NBDMIFIT 2.06
    config id of good slic .. repeat on non slic.

    It will be enough if i will change "System Configuration ID" (wndmiffit) from the laptop withOUT SLIC with the ID from good SLIC !?

    or I misunderstood what you told me !? :confused:
