how to change the warranty start date? Everything seems possible to change with DMIFIT. My board was replaced, and now warranty start date is 00/00/2000, hence asking for help.
warranty start date I downloaded the dmifit utility, but only can edit the Product Name,Serial Number, Product number, GUID, UUID but nothing mentions about Warranty Start Date.
What is the name of the utility automatically launched, i will see in the code if there is such a possibility. Some advance menu or options are hidden and the tool need to be patched. As an example, for HPBQ142 utility, to access the special menu you must type these 3 characters from main menu: [r] Then special menu containing Warranty date option will appear. magic.
hpbq utility doesn't work on hp tm2, only hpbi works, I guess because my Touchsmart is by Inventec and not Quanta. Please clarify what 3 characters you are referring to. I tried to do the hpbi/? and see list of commmands, but nothing about warranty start date.
do you know what hidden means, guess no. my question: What is the name of the utility automatically launched your answer: only hpbi works !!!! so, i suppose it is HPBI133, infortunately this tool do not have "warranty date" options in hidden menus.
