HP xw9300 Workstation need help modding BIOS

    I have learned that the xw9300 mobo is actually an HP version of a Tyan K8WE S2895 motherboard. I saw a modded BIOS (maybe Phoenix) for the Tyan K8WE S2895 but it has a Dell certificate, can I just use this modded BIOS given the flash protection is disabled and I use an HP certificate instead? Can anyone confirm if this will work or not? Thanks!

    You need to figure out EXACTLY what type of Bios your PC uses and make a Request in the appropriate Request Thread.
    I would NOT flash with a Bios that is similar, OEM's like HP have MB's made by companies like TYAN but they are usually NOT the same as the MB sold by TYAN directly.

    I am also looking for a mod 2.1 bios for this MB(xw9300). is there one out there? or did the Tyan flash work?

    good afternoon. question with stitching this motherboard BIOS manufacturer decided or not?
