HP Zie Wistron?

    I was looking for a moded BIOS for an HP Dc5750 but all i found was "HP Zie Wistron" in the thread. Does this mean that HP BIOS can't be moded?

    i tried my best using the given tools, but just f'ked up my bios. thank god the recovery worked. maybe some "professional" may help us.

    What you have is a Rompaq bios. This is different from Phoenix or InSyde bios'.

    Yo can replace teh slic to the bios, but if there is more than one instance in the bios, it will not update. You need a "re-engineered" flasher to flash the bios as it checks the sig of the file and other hashes..

    There is a whole thread pertaining to this in the W7 forum. There may be a set for you there...
