I have a windows server running within Hyper V, iv been using it for various purposes. The Hyper V machine randomly shutdowns constantly, iv looked at some event logs that suggest that the host machine is shutting it down. I do not know were to go from here, or what to do. Iv made a task scheduler to turn it on every 5 mins. But other than that what can I do to fix this problem? Host :Windows 8 pro Vm = Windows server 2012
Post the event logs. When strange things happen think on the worst and you problably be right. Last week when installing Windows 8.1 pro with update under hyper-v 2012r2 the system don't allow me to install the iso, it always ask me for drivers to continue. At the end was an usb stick problem that corrupt the file when moving it, changing the iso solve the problem.
