Thanks for such a quick reply and yes no way to access boot options with F8 ,no dual system, and I can run a scan from m system.
Well I have some ideas about computing but I am afraid I am not that good.So here is a screenshot ,should you give some hints ,thanks.
I have used only windows boot menu to delete a boot option, i believe it is safe. You probably just reinstalled win 7 or did an upgrade, correct? and you are able to boot fine obviously, if that is the case I will just delete that second boot option that IS NOT highlighted and give it a shot. It may be IT that is creating the confusion. Always back up!!!!!!
this can happen if first install of win 7 fails, or partition changes......at least that has been my experience with this; again i just deleted the boot option that wasnt highighted and all was well.
sorry it didnt work for you but I am sure you will get it, btw you are using F8 to safe boot! what model of is your pc, could it be F5 or else! just throwing ideas out there, I would also set BIOS to default and verify that function 8
thanks for being a gr8 help around, people like you keep the site going in some models of Asus, it is either F5 or F8, so yes that could be the dilemma in this case
Thanks guys but still the same problem with the safe mode. Here is a screenshot of my pc. If i had to do a repair install, will it be ok knowing that Daz´s loader is around?
cant see that screen shot too well, i barely make some of it, please repost or copy and paste info of u unit model;thxxx

Amigo, repair isnt going to harm/change anything in your system. It will just replace corrupted files if there is any, Bios default will just bring it back to default settings. So basically there is nothng to worry about. Those are just basic troubleshooting steps. Were you ever able to start in safe mode?
