I think you damaged you activation tokens.. Run "slmgr /rilc" & then use ATM..

Old DATA.DAT trick will not work... & why you looking around, ATM backed data.dat is same...

The old DATA.DAT trick DOES still work. I re-installed Windows 8 Pro with WMC on 2/3/2013 using this method and the WMC Upgrade key... Voila... Activated!!!

The Advanced Tokens Manager application makes some checks before attempting to restore the activation. If the data not match it will not restore and you need to reinstall the Operating System to have not any problem after the restore.

    Not for much time...

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

I have heard that some people are not having much luck with the modified data.dat method, but I have tested this a few times since MS supposedly closed the exploit, and have had 100% success rate, so we'll see.....

Backup Taken soon after activation has more changes of successful restore & backup taken after few days have less chances. This experienced by me, I backed-up activation every time activation date on "Activated On" changed.
after reinstall only first backup restored Successfully.
Restore also failed when too much played with tokens & then to restore them to original state /rilc works & then restore backed up tokens.

Go into the ATM backup folder and copy data.dat and tokens.dat
    navigate to c:\windows\system32\spp\store
    paste and overwrite old files.

    Done, go about your business.

Very good advice... No need to over complicate this. It's that simple!!! :clap3:
