    i see that optane vol is same size as the Samsung vol size and not both drives is it what its support to be?

    Yes, the Optane dive is just a cache for the main drive, they are not added together. It is a bi-directional cache so commonly used files are stored in the cache for faster access and writes are also cached to the Optane drive and then passed off to the main drive after the fact.

    The primary mechanism here when it comes to reads is the driver checking to see if requested data is on the Optane drive and if it is the driver grabs it from the cache instead of the primary OS drive.
