What should I do? I don't have any of other Window. I'm on Linux and I can use Windows 7 but not activated, on grace period only. Can I buy the $39,99 version and use it legally? I didn't found any info on this forum neither on Google.
you can even buy it from within windows 8. doesnt seem to matter and yes you can use it without a previous one just run the upgrade assistant and you will get a key from it.
