    Hi,
I own an old acer machine that comes with a custom motherboard that sadly has currently no bios updates available so I can't flash any newer bios with SLIC2.1. I have tried using a loader but windows seems to keep detecting the old SLIC table in the BIOS and not the one created by the loader so the activation doesn't work. What can I do? Are there newer loaders that can detect and delete the old SLIC 2.0 data so that it doesn't get detected by windows or am I forced to use some other activation methods? What do you guys suggest?

If a loader detects an old slic (2.0) it overwrites it. I guess a bios mod is ur best bet...

Exactly, you don't need a new BIOS version. Just mod the one you currently have. Visit the BIOS Mods section, you could even try to do it yourself and learn something new.
